Strong. High Quality. Earnest. Intelligent. Compassionate. These are just a few words that describe the women who founded this firm 30th years ago and those who continue to manage and lead the firm to this day for its enduring growth.
The beauty of this firm is that it truly lives up to its values statement and makes choices and decisions that are aligned with these values so we can continue to thrive. We do have a collaborative culture, as all of the partners, attorneys, administrative and legal staff work together since we are all the different parts that together make WSM a manifestation of these values. Together we provide high quality experiences for our immigration law clients. We have a diverse composition that enriches our integrity and quality of our legal service. We are encouraged to draw on our empathy and joy in discovery. Our work culture does value fun and flexibility, so everyone belongs and is equitably entitled to respect, dignity, and liberty.
Personally, I have been an immigration paralegal for over 30 years, with the most recent nine years being a part of Weaver Schlenger. Looking back over my career, though I am grateful for every part of it, I sometimes think of my career being akin to a classic fairy tale, where something is “too small,” something is “too big,” and then something is “just right.” Weaver Schlenger is my something “just right” -it is a home filled with a wonderful family of colleagues. I am fortunate and honored to be a part of Weaver Schlenger, LLP and look forward to its shining future.
